Free Wii With Panasonic Viera TVs

Panasonic kicks off marketing campaign with free giveaways

Following in Sony’s successful giveaway last year of PS3 with it Bravia range of televisions, Panasonic are offering a similar deal on a selected range of Viera plasmas, with a free Nintendo Wii console with every unit purchased.

Every selected plasma sold between 27 June and 2 August, 2009, will receive via redemption a Wii valued at $399.95.

Panasonic claims the televisions are ideal for cinematic movie experiences and fast moving action. The promotion includes Panasonic’s latest G10 and S10 Series Full HD Plasma TVs. Panasonic’s Viera G10 Series features a NeoPDP Full HD plasma display, incorporating 600Hz sub-field drive and 2,000,000+1iv dynamic contrast ratio for outstanding fast-moving images and improved brightness.

The Viera S10 Plasma Series is part of the new EcoPDP range and offers a broad range of sizes for consumers wanting to step up into the Full HD space.

Key features of the S10 Series include full-time 1080 TV lines of motion resolution, 2,000,000:1v dynamic contrast ratio and 24p playback. EcoPDP technology delivers improved energy-efficiency when compared to previous Panasonic ranges.

The latest range features Viera Image Viewer for direct SD memory card connectivity, so the family can watch their own home movies in AVCHD High Definition, or view images as a slide show on the big screen.
