EA Mobile has announced that The Simpsons: Tapped Out has relaunched on the App Store for iPad, iPhone and iPod Touch with a number of updates and enhanced HD graphics.
Scribed by The Simpsons’ award-winning writers, the free mobile app brings to life TV’s longest-running comedy. Fans are able to recreate and customise the town of Springfield and play along with many of the beloved characters they have come to know and love throughout the show’s more than 20-year history.
The Simpsons: Tapped Out returns with updates that include fixes to overall gameplay and stability, enhanced HD graphics for the new iPad Retina display and a multitasking capability that makes it easy for fans to switch in and out of the game.
For fans new to the app, the adventure begins when Homer accidentally causes a meltdown that wipes out Springfield. It’s up to players to rebuild it and help him find his family and friends. Players complete a variety of quests to earn virtual money, experience points and even donoughts, which they can use to customise and expand Springfield with new buildings, decorations and characters from the show.
