Symantec says its latest Internet Security Threat Report Volume 16 has found that researchers identified nearly four times as many unique-to-Android pieces of malware than the previous year.

Additionally, a recent Norton surveyfound that 48 percent of consumers in the Australia have had their mobile phone lost or stolen.  The need to protect consumer mobile devices is more important than ever.
