Four New Games To Land On The Nintendo 3DS

Nintendo Australia announced today the release dates for four highly anticipated Nintendo 3DS titles which will make their way to Australia and New Zealand in the coming months and will be available at retail and as digital downloads from the Nintendo eShop.

Nintendo Australia announced today the release dates for four highly anticipated Nintendo 3DS titles which will make their way to Australia and New Zealand in the coming months and will be available at retail and as digital downloads from the Nintendo eShop.

Leading the quartet is Luigi’s Mansion 2, a fully-fledged sequel to the Nintendo GameCube title that features Luigi as a reluctant hero who battles his nerves and a bevy of ghosts on a mission to save his brother Mario from a haunted mansion. The game will be available on March 28, 2013 and will have additional features such as local and online multiplayer mode.

The second game heading to the Nintendo 3DS is Fire Emblem: Awakening.  It is a traditional turn-based combat game that sees gamers requiring both skill and strategy to complete stages successfully. The game will launch on the 20th April 2013 and will feature new 3D visuals that makes use of the hardware on the Nintendo 3DS.

There’s also Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Gates to Infinity. In this game, players can choose to play any of several Pokémons including Pikachu, Snivy, Tepig, Oshawott or Axew on a mission to battle your way through mystery dungeons in order to save your home and its Pokémon inhabitants. Notable features of the game include the use of the Nintendo 3DS system’s cameras to activate mysterious portals called Magnagates and the introduction of wireless multiplayer features, allowing as many as four people to work together to battle through dungeons. Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Gates to Infinity will land on the Nintendo 3DS on the 18th May 2013.

Lastly, there’s Animal Crossing: New Leaf an open world game that allows its players to live in a town in any way they choose. The newest title in the Animal Crossing series features new animals, new experiences and new ways to have fun both for long-time fans and newcomers to the series. Animal Crossing: New Leaf will be available for the Nintendo 3DS by 15th June 2013.
