Entry-Level GPS From Garmin

  • Voice-prompted turn-by-turn navigation
  • 600,000 points of interest
  • Customisable icons

Garmin’s entry level nüvi 30, 40 and 50 series features lane assist with junction view, turn-by-turn directions and speed limit indicators.

Lane assist with junction view provides a graphical illustration of the junction or intersection ahead. Using arrows to guide you to the correct lane when approaching turns or exits, the PND makes unfamiliar intersections and turns easy to navigate, claims Garmin.

The nüvi 30/40/50 series features voice prompted turn-by-turn directions that speak street names to your destination. With a touchscreen interface and a 3.5-inch, 4.3-inch or 5-inch colour display, it is easier than ever to keep your attention on the road ahead.

Garmin’s speed limit indicator displays speed limits for most major roads, helping to ensure a safe drive. Also, the "Where Am I?" emergency locator means you’ll always know your location.

The nüvi 30/40/50 series has been preloaded with City Navigator NT street maps for both Australia and New Zealand. With over 600,000 points of interest in Australia and 110,000 in New Zealand, your nüvi will help guide you to the closest hospitals, police stations, petrol stations, nearest address, intersection and coordinates.

For those who want to personalise their PND, the nüvi 30/40/50 series allows you to select customisable car shaped icons for use on the device.
