Check your Google security settings for a bonus 2GB of cloud storage
As part of Safer Internet Day, Google is offering Google Account holders 2GB of additional Google Drive cloud storage in exchange for running its Security Checkup tool.
Security Checkup is designed to ensure a user's recovery information is up to date, review recent sign-in activity, and see which devices and apps have been granted access to the Google Account in question. It will also review two-factor authentication settings for users who have it enabled.
After running Security Checkup, CyberShack found the additional 2GB of cloud storage was added almost instantly. It does not appear to have an expiry date.
Google is running the promotion until February 11.
