Oregon Scientific latest camcorder offering has been designed specifically for those with a hankering for adventure and want to record their exploits.

The TC5K Waterproof Action Cam features a built-in 1.5 inch LCD and wireless remote so that users can activate photo and video capture without losing their footing or missing a moment

It delivers colour, high-quality 640 x 480 VGA footage at 30 frames per second, and has a 53-degree field of view.

Weighing in at less than 230 grams with batteries, and with multiple camera mounting designs, the ATC5K can be mounted to any sports equipment, ranging from helmets and handlebars to skateboards and race cars.

Recording capability is expandable up to 4GB with an SD card, and when you’re not out pushing the limits, the unit can also be used as a web cam when connected with a PC and as a viewfinder when connected with a TV or PMP. The Action Cam is compatible with both Mac and PC.
