Burning Crusade is almost here

With over 7.5 million players worldwide, gamers around the globe are awaiting the midnight arrival of The Burning Crusade; the next thrilling chapter in the online battle between good and evil.

In Australia, World of Warcraft fans will be among the first take on the new challenges and characters. A record number have already pre-ordered the game to ensure they’re ready to take on The Burning Crusade.

At the flagship store launch in Chatswood, NSW, World of Warcraft fans have the chance to win great prizes in costume and trivia competitions, witness a life-size Orc in full action, or get a behind the scenes perspective on the game. Atomic Magazine recently visited The Burning Crusade games developer Blizzard in the US and will give waiting fans an exclusive behind the scenes perspective of the game. All Australian EB Games stores will be open for pre-order pick-ups for those who can’t make it to Chatswood.

“Our Burning Crusade pre-orders have already broken all our previous pre-sale records, so we’re expecting a big crowd to turn up at our flagship store in Chatswood for the midnight launch,” said Jill Maxwell, Merchandising Manager, EB Games Australia. “This is one of our biggest game launches ever and without a doubt our biggest PC game launch, so we decided to arrange something special for the fans while they are waiting for their copies”, Jill continued.
