TomTom’s VIA range features the latest maps, IQ Routes, and a multitude of other navigation smarts, according to the manufacturer.
It also delivers a brand new software package with an even easier to use user interface. The VIA range also features Voice Control and Bluetooth hands-free calling and makes these premium features accessible for all drivers.

All TomTom VIA models contain the latest Whereis map of Australia. TomTom’s latest maps guaranteeensures that if a new map becomes available within 30 days of first use, every user is entitled to download the latest available free of charge..
TomTom IQ Routes is said to use billions of speed profiles contributed by TomTom drivers that give a detailed view of road speeds every minute of the day, every day of the year. IQ Routes enables the TomTom VIA to route drivers the fastest way, any time of the day.
Its advanced lane guidenceshows which lane to take at junctions so drivers won’t miss their turn. On the most difficult highway intersections, a realistic 3D representation of the junction keeps drivers relaxed and safe.
Park assist helps drivers locate the closest parking station to their destination, minimising travel times.
TomTom VIA features voice control and Bluetooth hands free calling enabling drivers to keep focussed on the road ahead. Safety Cameras, which alert to fixed speed and red light camera locations on the road ahead, help drivers to stay safe and relaxed. The Help me! Menu gives easy access to assistance and direct dial through to help when on the road.
The new navigation software and user interface delivers seamless ease of use. Voice Control makes commands and address input a breeze and the brand new integrated foldaway mount is always there when drivers need it. This mount attaches to the windscreen and, using the optional mounting disk, drivers can turn the device 180 degrees – a sensor flips the screen automatically the right way up, to mount on the dashboard.
The unit comes with a 4.3-inch touch screen and the TomTom VIA 180 boasts a huge 5.0-inch widescreen. Both models sport a brand new designwith brushed aluminium casing and a diamond-cut screen bezel edge.
