Australian Review: House of Marley Liberate XLBT – Bass for buck

It's easy to dismiss House of Marley as an exercise in branding, capitalising on Bob Marley's name in the same way that Beats leveraged Dr. Dre's. The Liberate XLBT is the first device I've used from House of Marley's extensive line-up, and I was actually a little surprised; the headphones weren't amazing, but they were much better than I expected.

Aesthetically speaking, Marley's Liberate XLBT is one of the most unique looking over-ear headphones (wireless or otherwise) on the market, blending aluminium, wood, fabric and plastic. It might not be everyone's cup of tea, but the Liberate XLBT certainly stands out in what's becoming an incredibly saturated market.
