Australian Review: Chroma Squad – Easy like a Saturday morning

If Chroma Squad were a licensed title, it would be called Power Rangers: The Game. Chroma Squad is so clearly inspired by the '90s Saturday morning breakfast serial that the company behind Power Rangers threatened legal action at one point.

But rather than focus on actual “superheroes”, Chroma Squad revolves around five stunt actors who play them on a TV show, but become dissatisfied with the director and form their own studio. Subsequently the actors begin recording episodes to earn fans and money with which to upgrade their studio. In a nutshell, it’s a management-based game with some light RPG elements and tactical turn-based combat.
