App Calls Cops When Phone Stolen

A new patent has been put in that detects if your iPhone is stolen.

A report from AppleInsider states it has sighted a patent for an Apple iPhone app, which is an electronic device that automatically goes into prevention mode if it detects an unusual amount of force.

With an array of applications, plus its built-in GPS, it doesn’t take much to realise that not only could the phone then send out a signal it has been stolen, but you., or the police, can actually track its movements.

Not a bad idea, because at the end of the day, it’s not the phone being stolen that is the problem, it’s all the information and contacts stored on it that cause the real inconvenience.
