Gear4 has announced the local release of its covers and protective shields for the iPad, which include a range of cases featuring characters from Rovio’s award‐winning game, Angry Birds.
These plastic covers feature two different styles: a thin, clear plastic cover or a grey, smooth plastic cover. Both covers incorporate a snap‐on design that is both shock resistant and SmartCover compatible.
The leather folios are inspired for the on‐the‐go user who desires handy viewing wherever they might be. The folio‐style protective case offers all‐around protection, as well as folding functionality into a stand. Gear4 has also produced an Angry Birds‐themed Leather Folio which features an image of an Angry Bird stamped in the leather in the bottom corner, perfect for fans who wants to express their fun loving nature discreetly or use it in a business setting.
Gear4’s CoverStand is a wrap‐style protective case that offers automatic screen activation when opening the case. The plastic textured cover also doesn’t hinder viewing or typing capabilities, claims the manufacturer.
There is what the manufacturer calls a JumpSuit Neo feature, which is said to offer maximum protection for the iPad. The neoprene material completely covers the tablet, preventing damage and scratching.
The cases incorporate a sleek functional design with fun, graphical images of Angry Birds characters, including the menacing Pig King and also feature slogans such as “Don’t get mad, Get Angry”.
