Amaysim now offers unlimited talk and text from AUD$29.90

Amaysim today announced a revamped AUD$29.90 per month offering that includes 2GB of data, and unlimited talk and text. The new "UNLIMITED 2GB" plan is available from today, and all Amaysim customers on the old "UNLIMITED TEXT 2GB" plan will be automatically upgraded to the new offering at no cost.

"UNLIMITED TEXT 2GB" customers previously had access to 500 minutes of standard national calls.

For comparison, Optus offers unlimited talk and text with 1.5GB of data on an AUD$30 recharge with a bonus AUD$5 for international calls and roaming. Vodafone offers an almost identical AUD$30 recharge, excluding only the AUD$5 bonus credit. Telstra's AUD$30 recharge includes 1.3GB of data, unlimited text, and AUD$250 of call credit.
