A recall has been put into effect by the Australian Consumer and Competition Commission (ACCC) for Audio Products Group Nile iRemote TS and iC2
It appears that the battery may fall out of the unit, which could in turn rupture on impact and potentially ignite causing a fire hazard.
Anybody who bought the item from Southport Hi Fi and Australian Theatre Supplies in Queensland, or All Digital and Springwood Hi Fi in New South Wales between 24th July 2008 – 28th February 2011 shoud contact Audio Products Group Pty Ltd to have a free of charge modification carried out.
