1 in 5 Chance to Win HD Recorder

Shoot, share and store your memories with Lumix and the DMR-XW350

Panasonic is offering a ‘1 in 5’ chance to win a Panasonic High Definition Hard Disk Drive (HDD) recorder when they purchase one of Panasonic’s new Lumix cameras with AVCHD Lite High Definition video recording.

Consumers will need to purchase a Lumix DMC-FT1 or DMC-TZ7 Travel Zoom digital camera between 1 August and 30 September, 2009 and register online at www.lumix.com.au/connect. Entrants have a chance to instantly win one of 1,500 DMR-XW350s, valued at $1,099.

With only 1,500 High Definition HDD Recorders to be won, consumers must hurry – the first 7,500 entrants to register online will be in with a chance.

Users can record still and HD video footage onto an SD/SDHC Card and playback via the SD card slot in their HDD Recorder or TV. The HD recorder also allows the user to store and archive their memories to the built-in hard drive or transfer onto a DVD disc.

The 12.1 megapixel Lumix DMC-FT1 (available in blue, orange, green and silver) is waterproof, shockproof and dustproof.

The 10.1 megapixel Lumix DMC-TZ7 (black only) features a 25mm ultra-wide-angle lens and 12x optical zoom in a remarkably compact design. Both models feature AVCHD Lite HD video recording that produces exceptional quality HD video with greater recording capacity.

The Panasonic DMR-XW350 DVD recorder features Panasonic’s Viera Cast for online access to entertainment sites, YouTube and Google’s Picasa Web Albums, as well as SD Card Link with AVCHD playback compatibility via the SD/SDHC card slot.

The recorder also features a Twin DVB-T HD tuner and can simultaneously record two Digital TV channels so users will never miss their favourite program in HD or SD, even when watching a DVD or pre-recorded program, and features a 250GB HDD capacity to record 120 hours of High Definition content.
