One such unit is the H-FT012, with its interchangeable 3D lens. It features two optical systems in the lens, creating stereo images which can be processed with a 3D processing system, like a 3D TV. It allows for instant 3D shooting without any special set up required. It can shoot moving objects and close ups, and the results, are pretty cool.

The 3D is created by the special lens adapter, which records two slightly different images side by side to achieve the stereoscopic 3D effect. You just attach the lens, perform a quick calibration to make sure the images are perfectly lined up, then start shooting your own movie.

Every time you experience 3D it hits you how stunning it can be… For stills, the depth of the shots reflects your real memory of the moment. And the 3D videos are pretty good, too; it’s like the action is happening in front of you, right there in your living room.
