Uber today announced that they are bringing a native version of their app to Windows Phone. Previousl,y Windows Phone users were able to access the luxury car service through an unoptimised mobile site.

While the app is comparable to the iOS and Android versions, the Uber's Windows Phone debut is missing a few features: there's currently no ability to split fares between other people riding with you, the app can't yet provide fare quotes. These features will be added within the next month.

Uber's service is available in over 150 cities across 41 different countries. These include Sydney, Brisbane, Perth, Melbourne and Auckland.

The Uber app for Windows Phone is available to download now.
