We’ve already seen a lot of smartwatches, a couple of smart glasses, we’ve even seen a concept smart wig, but recently we’ve seen a wearable that’s actually meant to be worn – a smart shirt.

People from Intel went to the Code Conference in California this week with shirt lined with sensors that can monitor your vital stats including your heart rate and even your emotions. The shirt connects to a smartphone and records your personal information into an app. The shirt is made by a partner company, AIQ and is built from conductive fibres.

The shirt comes equipped with a special battery (not water-resistant) and should come out sometime within the next couple of months. Intel doesn’t plan to make the actual shirt, but will develop the sensors embedded on the garment. The company also promised that it’s also working on other wearables including those that you wear on your ears, wrist, eyes and torso.
