Fetch TV have spent the past week rolling out the 2.1 update to its PVR, and as of today it is available to all customers. We loved Fetch TV when we reviewed it prior to the upgrade, and it looks like these features only make it better! Here's what's new:

Real Time EPG
The heart of Fetch TV has gotten even with an update to take it real time. Rather than just updating once a day, the electronic programme guide (EPG) now takes real time data from the free-to-air channel stream, meaning it knows if a show is still running, even if you didn't tell it to record any "over time".

TENplay
Network Ten's catch up service, TENplay, has been added to the Catch Up TV menu, alongside ABC iView and SBS On Demand. Fetch TV is planning to add another free to air catch up service next month.

Top Shows
Top Shows is a new feature that makes it easier for subscribers to record what's hot. Editorialised by Fetch TV and updated each week, Top Shows groups shows by genre making it easy to find the best of what's available. Top Shows also lets you do a search for actors from your favourite shows to see what other movies and shows they are in that are airing currently.

Sneak Peak Trial Channel
Fetch TV has now added a "Free Trial" channel, allowing customers on the base pack to watch a selected channel from the entertainment pack for 14 days. The first channel subscribers can enjoy is Nickelodeon, which will be available for free until the 21st of July. The next channel in this line up has yet to be confirmed.

Movie Specials Tab
Fetch TV will now also be offering 18 discounted movies at all times, at a special price of $2.95. These will rotate regularly.
