Telstra today announced its new consumer data share packages that allow customers to share their monthly data allowance between their mobile devices.

The new packages will let customers with up to four devices connect from a single pool of data on Telstra’s Mobile network removing the need to look for alternative connection points such as Public Wi-Fi access. There are a number of packages available at different price and data allowance points that ensures customers get the service that they actually need.

Customers who find they need more data each month can add Shared Data Packs to their plans, which offer additional mobile data allowance for use across devices. Moreover, users who sign up for an Every Day Connect Data Share package before the 31st of December 2013 will also get a bonus 1GB of data to share in Australia each month for the first year.

For a more detailed explanation of the new plans or if you don’t know how much data you need, you can check out Telstra’s website using this link.
