Sunswift’s eVe could be Australia’s first road legal solar-powered car

At CeBIT 2015, we had a chat to the guys from Sunswift – the UNSW Solar Racing team – and they're working on some pretty incredible stuff. Sunswift built eVe, a solar-powered racing car that can clock up to 140km/hr and travel 800km in a day without expending any fuel. The team is working on making eVe Australia's first road registriable solar car, a process that entails redesigning and rebuilding almost every component to meet regulations.
