Sennheiser Goes After Mobile Market
High-end headphone manufacturer is releasing new headphones designed for the mobile and portable markets
Sennheiser is showcasing several new headphones for portable players at this year’s International Consumer Electronics show in Berlin, while Sennheiser Communications will be showing new headsets for mobile phones.
Whether you are at home or out and about, the five new HD-models have optimised sound for MP3 players and other portable audio equipment, but they are also suited for use with a home hi-fi system. Until now, it was difficult to combine good sound for gaming and minimum weight for taking it wherever you go. But the PC 300 G4ME is a slim in-ear headset with its integrated microphone and volume control means that it takes up about as much space as a matchbox. Two new PC products, PC 100 and PC 11, will also launch at IFA. The PC 100 is an all-round in-ear headset for enjoying music in the train on your way to work, telephoning with business partners over the internet or gaming in the evening. The PC 11 is a new VoIP headset that is ultra-lightweight and comfortable on either ear, it is the ideal single-sided headset for internet telephony and dictation.
