Samsung Galaxy S III With 4G Coming To Aust.
- Arrives in October
- Comes with Android 4.1 O/S (Jelly Bean)
- HD voice calls
Samsung’s Galaxy S III 4G is slated to arrive on the Telstra Mobile Network in October and will come with the latest Android 4.1 Jelly Bean technology.
Other features include a 4.8 inch HD Super AMOLED display for high-resolution video, web browsing and gaming. It is powered by the latest quad-core processor technology that is said to deliver fast performance for mobile gaming and web browsing and applications such as photo and video editing.
If you are out of range for the 4G network it will use the default setting of Telstra’s HSPA+ Dual Channel 3G network technology. These faster typical download speeds of 1.1 Mbps – 20 Mbps are available to 80 per cent of the population on the Telstra Mobile Network.
Telstra customers can also make high definition voice calls on the handset. The built-in HD Voice support enables crisper, clearer calls when chatting to friends that have HD Voice compatible handsets on the Telstra Mobile Network.
Telstra currently offers 4G coverage in more than 100 metropolitan and regional locations across the nation including all capital CBDs. An expansion program, launched last week, will see 4G coverage spread further across all capital cities over the next 10 months.
