Pentax K-30 lands Down Under
Pentax Australia has announced the arrival of its latest uber-rugged water-resistant DSLR- the K-30.
With a16.3-megapixel CMOS , a polycarbonate chassis, it has been designed with a fully weather sealed body with what the company says is '81 seals'.
Designed to shoot continuously at up to 6 frames per second with a maximum shutter speed of 1/6000th of a second, the K-30 can also capture HD video at 1080 x 1920.
With a legacy-inspired K mount that also allows use of those wonderful 1970s lenses, the K-30 DSLR according to Pentax, has been made for maximum flexibility.
The camera can either use the supplied rechargeable lithium battery, or, with an adapter, use disposable AA batteries.
