Paris goes public on Facebook

Poor Paris Hilton, first there’s THAT video, then there was the problem of her Sidekick entries going public– now her private pics exposed on Facebook.

Poor old Paris Hilton, first there’s THAT video, then there was the problem of her Sidekick entries going global on the net – now the socialite/wannabe actress has had her private pics exposed on Facebook.

Bloggers at Laatedaa.com first discovered the security issue in January which apparently allowed a casual user to access anyone’s private photos by manipulating a web address to appear as that person’s friend.

When finally alerted of the issue, Facebook responded with a security update last week – however computer techie Byron Ng bypassed the Facebook security on Friday and proved the technique could still work by gaining access to Paris Hilton’s private photos. An AAP journalist then took the prank one step further publishing pics from Facebook’s chief executive Mark Zuckerberg’s private gallery online.

Facebook have since updated their security to fix the breach.
