Panasonic Blu-rays Get BigPond Movies

After recently announcing it consumers could get the QuickFlix service on some of its Blu-ray models, Panasonic says consumers can now get access to BigPond Movies’ movie library on selected Blu-ray recorders, players and home theatre systems through its Viera Connect IPTV platform.
BigPond Movies allows customers to access movies and TV shows from their own home, giving users access to over 4,000 titles on demand.
Panasonic’s range of Blu-ray recorders and players allows users to experience a world of interactive entertainment. There is a host of smart home networking features, including DLNA, built-in wifi on some models and smartphone connectivity.
Panasonic’s cloud-based Viera Connect service provides almost an unlimited number of apps and ensures that the user always has the most up-to-date versions, without having to worry about upgrades, claims the company. BigPond joins a host of other services including ABC iView, Yahoo 7's PLUS7; Skype functionality; as well as social networking sites and services, You Tube, Facebook and Twitter.
