Downloads for Resident Evil 5 will be available for die hard fans this week
Capcom is releasing a online mulitplayer Versus mode for Xbox Live and PlayStation Network for Resident Evil 5.
It will come with two rule sets: Slayer’s Rule, where gamers get points for killing Majinis, and Survivor’s Rule, where you hunt each other. Both Versus modes in the Resident Evil 5 DLC can be played one-on-one or in teams of two. Four players enter, one person leaves in either of two game types.
The game has received some negative reviews due to its predecessors setting such a high standard. However, Capcom assure us that these downloads will redeem any negatives from the game itself.
There was also some hope that the downloads might be free, but it will not be. It will either cost you some Microsoft points of Xbox Live, or you will have to pay a nominal on the PlayStation Network.
