Mobile phones now more dangerous than before

Doctors have found that the nickel content in mobile phones can cause skin rashes.

Doctors in the U.K. are warning about a new danger with mobile phones – mobile phone dermatitis.

The rash had been previously noted by researchers and medical professionals but not attributed to mobile phone use.

Anyone finding an unexplained rash on their ears or cheeks could be suffering from a skin allergy, a release from the British Association of Dermatologists said.

Nickel on the surface of the mobile phone is believe responsible for triggering skin allergies in some people.

Nickel also happens to be one of the most common causes of allergic contact dermatitis, according to the Mayo Clinic in the US.
