LG Optimus L9 II Now Official

After images of the Optimus L9 II were leaked last Monday, LG was quick on making it official as it unveiled the device yesterday in the Netherlands through a press release. The official specs of the Optimus L9 II include a 4.7-inch True HD IPS display with a pixel density of 312 pixels per inch, a 1.4 GHz dual-core Krait processor, 1GB of RAM and Adreno 305 on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 chip.

The official specs of the Optimus L9 II include a 4.7-inch True HD IPS display with a pixel density of 312 pixels per inch, a 1.4 GHz dual-core Krait processor, 1GB of RAM and Adreno 305 on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 chip. There’s also 8GB of on-board storage, which is expandable up to 32GB via microSD card slot.

In the imaging department, the Optimus L9 II will have an 8MP camera at the back with autofocus and an LED flash, while a 1.3MP camera will sit at the front. The phone will be capable of capturing 1080p videos at 30 frames per second.

The handset will be powered by a 2150mAh Li-ion battery and is expected to hit retail stores by October. Pricing has not been disclosed yet but we’ll definitely update our blog once more information from LG comes in.
