Leaked images reveal “PlayStation 4 Slim”

Leaked images have revealed what appears to be a refreshed slimline version of the PlayStation 4. The console is expected to feature similar hardware to the PlayStation 4, but in a smaller form-factor with rounded corners matte finish. The leaked packaging simply featured the PlayStation 4 moniker, meaning that the new device is unlikely to be the 4K ready PlayStation Neo with higher end internals (also referred to as the PlayStation 4.5).

Sony is expected to unveil the new slim PlayStation 4 on September 7 during an event where it may also further discuss PlayStation Neo. The leaker told This Gen Gaming that the PlayStation 4 slim will see a worldwide release on September 14.
