A Kaiser Baas media player allows users to stream digital video, music and photos from your PC.
Kaiser Baas has released a digital media adapter for your television that plays digital videos, music and photos as slideshows from a computer or network attached storage drive.
With built in networking capabilities and TV connections that let you connect to legacy TVs with analogue connections, or to high definition TVs with HDMI connections, the K1000 allows users to browse content from a computer or game console on the network and play them to your TV.
It also plays digital media from USB storage devices such as USB thumb drives and USB external hard drives to your TV.
It is claimed to take the hard work out of guessing which file formats and codecs can be played back to the TV by being compatible with all the popular & niche file formats a consumer would stumble across when searching & sharing movies, music & photos. These include common video formats like AVI, MPG, MP4, WMV, ISO, TP, TS, and more obscure internet formats like MOV & MKV. It even supports videos encoded in DivX, XVid & H.264 which are popular with BitTorrent downloaded movies. Digital audio and image formats like MP3, WAV, WMA, AAC, OGG, FLAC; and JPG and BMP (for image files) are also supported, making it a virtual “Swiss Army knife” for digital media playback.
