Google add video chat to Gmail
Google has spruced up Gmail with the announcement of a new video chat service. Unlike Skype or iChat the service runs directly from your browser. The video chat service will work on both PCs and Apples.
The service allows Gmail users to video chat and Google chat simultaneously. Google spokesman Jason Friedenfields commented:”It’s a nice alternative for businesses looking for another way for people to connect.” To get all the benefits of the new service, users will need a webcam and will need to download a small web browser.
