iPhone jumps on the Ghostbusters’ bandwagon, with the popular phone getting its own version of the game come June…
Sony Pictures has announced that the Ghostbusters game will be coming to the iPhone, which will make fans of the 80s classic movie happy – especially for those who want to wile away those boring train/bus rides saving innocent bystanders from getting slimed.
Sony has already announced that the game will be available for the Xbox, PS3 and Wii consoles, so this is being seen by some as a bonus.
The Ghostbusters iPhone game will see users playing as Dr Peter Venkman, Dr Raymond Stantz and company, trying to trap ghastly ghosts and paranormal poltergeists, while also stopping innocents being victims of the mischievous ghouls.
It is not known how the control mechanism will work, however, with plenty of in-built functionality, we’re sure Sony and Apple will find a way to make sure plenty of fun is to be had.
The bad news is that it won’t be arriving until later this year, the good news is, one of the 1980s greatest icons is making a comeback.
