Garmin Australia is launching its mobile navigation app, Navigon, for Windows Phone 8 today.

Garmin Australia is launching its mobile navigation app, Navigon, for Windows Phone 8 today.
The app allows users to turn their Windows Phone 8-enabled smartphone into a mobile navigation system. The system does not need data transfer to work basic functionality such as route calculation or map displays.
You can also use the app when you’re in the car or on foot. The Windows Phone 8 version features Lane Assistant, Reality View Pro, Navigon My Routes, Navigon Reality Scanner, 3D maps, etc.

Garmin offers discounted pricing until December 2nd. The Navigation app will cost AU$49.99, Traffic Live $16.99 and FreshMaps XL $24.99. Starting December 3rd, pricing will go up to $62.49, $24.99 and $39.49, respectively.
