Game Review: Overwatch – Your new addiction
I must admit, I'm a little surprised by how taken with Overwatch I am. Online shooters have never been my thing. I enjoy single player FPSs, but their online modes rarely keep my attention. Overwatch has been the exception to the rule, and I find myself constantly craving another round. I've put in about 20 hours of in-match time, but I still feel like I'm only scratching the surface when it comes to mastering the cast of characters and team composition. Easy to learn, hard to master definitely rings true.
More importantly, Overwatch is fun in the purest sense of the word. The game makes it very easy to jump in and have an impact on a match, even if you're not a fan of traditional FPSs. Win or lose, Overwatch is the kind of game that makes you want to hang in there for another round.
Overwatch was reviewed on Windows. It is also available on Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
