Battery maker Energizer are currently under fire for releasing a rechargeable D-size battery that’s little more than a double-A sized battery in a D sized casing.

D sized batteries provide a larger source of power for electronics and while not used in a large amount of devices anymore, products like keyboards and musical amplification systems still use them. The battery in question is currently being argued that costing four-hundred percent more than the smaller battery and still being about the same, Energizer are actually deceiving customers with a poorly performing battery.
