BenQ’s Rolls Out Mini Projector

BenQ has entered the mini projector with a product that has the pundits salivating

With smartphones and other portable media giving an outlet for hi-res moving or still pictures, sometimes people tend to overlook mini projectors as a means of displaying goods without having to lug around huge amounts of gear.

With that in mind BenQ has just released its GP1, which is a mini projector that weighs a paltry 640 grams and can fit into a carry bag with ease. It is uses LED technology, has a 3DLP RGB lamp, and emits a reasonable 100 Ansi lumens of brightness.

It can be integrated with certain smartphones, has a USB port for storage, and can be used with some games consoles. You can also connect to an RCA video or VGA video.

Its screen size is just over 2m, has a touch-sensitive control panel, has a display resolution of 858×600, and a 2000:1 contrast ratio.
