AC/DC’s latest album has hit a little snag called the Internet.
AC/DC’s latest album has been leaked on the Internet a week before its scheduled release.
Black Ice is the first release from the Australian hard rock band in eight years. Their previous album, Stiff Upper Lip, sold around 180,000 copies down under.
Online torrent site Torrentfreak has reported 400,000 downloads for the album already.
The leak comes as another new release that’s struggled to be hidden until release.
U2’s upcoming album was marred by four songs being leaked on the Internet last month thanks to a recording of Bono playing them too loudly from his villa in France.
But hopefully it won’t impact AC/DC too much. British newspaper The Guardian said “Black Ice is nearly Back in Black II, and easily their best effort since.”
