Garmin Dakota 20
Garmin’s Dakota 20 features a solid 2.6-inch colour screen, which is readable in harsh sunlight.
It’s been fitted with a high sensitivity receiver called HotFix for super-fast locking with satellites. This extra sensitive receiver can get a signal even in heavy bushland, where other GPS’s may fail.

It also has a three-axis-tilt compensated electronic compass, which means it will show the direction you’re heading even when you’re standing still, and not holding it level, as opposed to a normal magnetic compass.
The Dakota 20 also comes with a barometric altimeter, which keeps track of elevation, atmospheric pressure, and changing weather – essential for mountain climbers, trail bike riders and bush walkers.
