TEAC hit the ground running with new LCDs
TEAC claims its new multimedia televisions give Australians a complete multimedia AV experience at home by being able to playback music, photos and movies from an SD or MMC card or USB thumb drive.
There are a variety of connections including Composite, S-Video, Component and HDMI on each of the TVs for consumers who want to add additional audio visual components. With a widescreen aspect ratio of 16:10, each HD tuner ensures picture quality of up to 1080i. The 19-inch LCD offers a high resolution of 1440×900 while the 22-inch unit offers high contrast and high resolution of 1680 x 1050. These TVs are PAL/NTSC compatible.
Complete with high injection-moulded finish, their 12V DC compatibility makes the unit suitable for use in caravans. Available for a recommended retail price of $699 and $799, TEAC’s new high definition range is available with a 12 month warranty from leading retailers around Australia. TEAC is also releasing the LCDV1957DVR, LCDV2257DVR and the LCDV2657DVR LCDs that have an integrated DVD players and HD tuners. Finally, a remote control operates both the television and the DVD player from one unit, cutting down on clutter on the coffee table. Available for a recommended retail price of $899, $999 and $1299.
