Microsoft today announced the Nokia 130, a brand new feature phone that will retail for 19 euro (approximately AUD$28). Aesthetically, the Nokia 130 takes inspiration from both Microsoft’s Lumia range, as well Nokia’s handsets of old.

The phone boasts a 1.8-inch screen, and will be available in both single SIM and dual SIM variants. 3G connectivity has been completely omitted, but the Nokia 130 will offer 13 hours of 2G talk time. In addition, users will get 46 hours of music playback, and 16 hours of video.

Microsoft plan to release the Nokia 130 this quarter. A Microsoft spokesperson said there is no word on an Australia release at this stage.
