Magellan launches three GPS devices designed with cyclists in mind.

The Magellan Cyclo 100, Cyclo 105 and Cyclo 105HC are packed with features including high sensitivity GPS receiver for cyclists to measure all aspects of their ride including time, speed, altitude, calories burnt, cadence and distance.

The Cyclo series feature a rugged waterproof casing (IPX7) and long battery life (up to 18 hours), making the range suitable for every weather condition and every track. Each product also sports a 1.8-inch anti-glare screen which is fully customisable and allows for up to six different measurements to be displayed at once. The Cyclo series also comes with a handy backtrack feature that lets users track their ride and follow it back to the starting point so they don’t get lost.

Moreover, the entire range is equipped with hard buttons and simple intuitive menus that make navigating easy and convenient. The line also come with built-in ANT+ sensor, with the 105HC including a Magellan heart rate monitor and cadence/speed sensor kit. Other features of the 105 ad 105HC include a barometric altimeter for more accurate elevation information and an outside temperature gauge.

The Cyclo series is also capable of uploading and saving user’s recorded data to the Magellan desktop tool which can later be uploaded to other third party sites such as MapMyRide, TrainingPeaks and Magellan Active.

The Magellan Cyclo series will be available in all major retailers from the end of April 2013. For a full list of stock list or further information, you can visit Magellan’s website using this link.
