Yamaha has expanded its earphone range with the release of two new models, the EPH-50 and EPH-20, which are designed for portable audio devices, and are said to be highly efficient in their use of power.

The EPH-50s audio quality extends across a large frequency range (20Hz–21kHz) ensuring every detail from the recording is present. External noise is minimised by the EPH-50’s in-ear design. Its ear bud and outer enclosure sit within the ear, forming a seal to the external environment. These earphones come with three different sized ear buds – small, medium and large and a 6.35mm stereo adaptor.

Storage of the EPH-50s is easier with Yamaha’s patented cable holder. The cable holder is designed to minimise cable entanglement and ensure cable integrity is maintained.

The entry level EPH-20 earphones come in five colours: black, blue, brown, green and pink. They are designed to match for the range of coloured iPod Nanos currently on the market.
They are tilted inwards ensuring they fit comfortably inside the ear and come in small, medium or large sizes.
