WOW DVD Recalled Over Burn Hazard

WOW’s Sight and Sound VUE portable DVD player has been recalled by the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) due to a potential hazard.
The 10.1 inch portable DVD player (model number VUESPD1020; serial numbers VUESPD102082011000001 to VUESPD102082011001000) has a battery that could overheat and become a burn hazard.
Its battery may overheat and melt if left plugged in for a long period of time. It was available for sale between 1st August 2011 – 15th February 2012. It was sold nationally by WOW Sight & Sound.
Consumers should stop using the product immediately if within the serial number range. Other serial numbers of this model are not affected. Please return the unit to your local WOW store for a replacement battery to be fitted free of charge
