Windows Phone users won’t be left out anymore when it comes to wearables as San Francisco-based Fitbit has announced that they are currently working on an app that will make a number of its products compatible with Windows Phone handsets.

The confirmation was given through WP at the Fitbit community forum. At the moment, the company did not reveal any details but the app should support at least majority of Fitbit’s products including the Flex, the Force and the One.

If Fitbit becomes successful in releasing such an app, the smartband maker will definitely secure a prime spot for Windows Phone users. At the moment, all of the top brands for wearables are focusing their efforts for the development of products on iOS and Android.
