Vodafone’s newest plan offers up to 20GB of data

Vodafone is trying to sate the needs of data-hungry Australians with a new smartphone plan offering a monthly data allowance of up to 20GB.

The telco's newly announced AUD$130 per month Red plan offers customers a base data allowance of 15GB per month on top of Vodafone's standard "infinite" talk and text inclusions. Customers who subscribe to the new plan before November 3 will receive a bonus 5GB, taking them to total of 20GB.

"20GB of data gives customers the freedom to watch a movie or two every week, stream music for several hours each day or enjoy live gaming on the go," said Vodafone General Manager of Products Stephen Smyth.

"This new plan delivers on our commitment to give customers more peace of mind, value and choice to tailor their plans according to the way they want to use their phones."

Vodafone's AUD$130 per month Red plan also includes AUD$5 per day global roaming, and unlimited standard international calls to ten countries including the United States, United Kingdom, South Korea, and Singapore. Customers will also receive a 12 month subscription to their choice of Spotify Premium, Stan or the Sydney Morning Herald.
