It looks like there’s multi-mode revolution happening right now in the laptop market – specifically the one involving a design first seen on Lenovo’s Yoga line of notebooks. Today, Toshiba jumps aboard the trend with its Satellite Radius notebook.

The device features a 15-inch display and will pack either a Core i5 or i7 processor, with 8GB of RAM and 1TB of storage space. The Radius will also pack Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, Harman Kardon audio and a Sleep/Charge USB 3.0 port.

Just like the Lenovo Yogas, the Satellite Radius will have five modes including the traditional notebook and tablet modes, a presentation mode (similar to Lenovo’s tent mode), Audience mode where the keyboard faces away from the users with the keyboard tucked under the unit, and a Tabletop mode where the entire device is lying flat on the table.

The Toshiba Satellite Radius will be available in July with prices starting at $1000.
