Toshiba develops 3D laptop with no glasses

Toshiba has announced a 3D laptop that needs no glasses, according to a Venturebeat report.

According to a number of media reports, this latest electronic development will give Toshiba a considerable edge on the competition.

Using the same design on the laptop that it uses on 3D TVs currently for sale in Japan, the new laptops don't require special glasses to see images in 3D, allowing viewing of 3D applications such as games, movies and other web effects.

However there is a catch – users must view the laptop from a 40-degree angle in order to see the full 3D effect, meaning a possible mini-boom for chiropractors in 2011!
