Motorola's circular Moto 360 smartwatch looks like it will get a proper debut and release date at an event being held in Chicago on September 4. In addition, the invite features images of the Moto X and Moto G smartphones, suggesting potential upgrade for both. According to Cnet, a Motorola spokeswoman confirmed that multiple products would be featured at the event.

While the Moto 360 was touted up on stage alongside the LG G Watch and Samsung Gear Live at Google I/O, no concrete details about a release date were provided. The Moto 360 runs the same Android Wear operating system as found on the LG's and Samsung's smartwatch offerings.

At present, no pricing information is available.
